Job Description


Our client, one of the most successful plaintiff's firms in California, is seeking an experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years significant personal injury experience.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and will be determined in part by the qualifications of the selected candidate. Position is eligible for discretionary bonus. Spanish speaking a plus. Immediate start. Serious applicants only.

  • Reports to Trial Attorney
  • Extensive client contact
  • Drafting correspondence, discovery, and other litigation related documents
  • Document production
  • Correspondence with medical offices
  • Schedule depositions
  • Assists with trial preparation
  • Maintain calendars
  • Create and/or maintain meticulous records, spreadsheets, and files
  • Settlement breakdowns
  • Meet deadlines
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day legal casework

Job Requirements

Must have experience in handling all aspects of the litigation process; from intake through trial preparation. High level of attention to detail in writing is required; proofreading or editing skill set is a plus. Must have ability to manage deadlines with multiple priorities, work under pressure, and appropriately handle confidential information. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of personnel in the firm to include clients. Impeccable judgment, discretion, respect, and integrity is required. Must appreciate high volume in a fast paced environment. Candidate must have the necessary experience to immediately work with in cases of moderate severity and complexity. The ideal candidate will have stable work history and possess strong technical proficiency, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school
  • Paralegal certificate
  • Must have a minimum of five years’ personal injury paralegal experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Team oriented; must be capable of working in a collaborative environment
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
