Job Description

My client has a need for both a Sr Electrical and Sr Mechanical Engineer in their N. VA office.

Electrical Engineer

 

My client is a leader in innovative engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our DC team. This is a design and production position involving all aspects of the project life cycle beginning with developing the initial scope thru construction administration and project closeout.

 

Project types include Mixed Use, Commercial Office, Mission Critical Facilities, and Corporate Interiors.

 

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Communicate effectively with client, and internal project team, sub consultants and contractors.

Assist as necessary in the development of project proposals, budgets, cost standards and schedules

Organize and prioritize multiple tasks to complete the design in a sequential efficient manner.

Accurately produce the project construction documents to meet milestone schedules within a predetermined hourly budget.

Review all project related construction administrative items (shop drawings, RFI’s, change order proposals).

Conduct site inspections and prepare field reports during project construction.

Review project close out documentation (O&M Manuals and as-built documents).

Promote the reputation of the company through the technical quality of his/her work.

Possess thorough knowledge of all codes applicable to his/her discipline

Represent us professionally at all project related meetings and inspections.

 

 

Qualified candidates should have a BSEE, LEED accreditation and be a licensed professional engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience having demonstrated proficiency and good judgment specifically in the design of Mixed Use, Commercial Office, Mission Critical Facilities, and Corporate Interiors projects. Candidate shall be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, REVIT, SKM and AGi32 software. My client is a nationally recognized leader in mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering design, as well as peer/third party plan review and commissioning services and has provided engineering services throughout the United States for more than 20 years.
