Mental Health Technician
Residential Programs - Calera, AL


Part-time WEEKEND day shift
Fri-Su 6a-4p

Part-time WEEKEND day/evenings shift
Fri 4p-8p; Sa-Su 8a-8p

Part-time WEEKEND evening/night shifts
(8p-8a); (12a-8a)

Part-time day shift Mon-Fri (6a-10a)

Other part-time relief shifts (hours may vary)


Full-Time evening shifts, some weekends included

(12p-8p; 2p-10p)

Full-time split day/evening shifts (12p-8p) 

Full-time night shift (12a-8a)
Other hours may vary including weekends

Are you a dependable employee? Do you want to help others? If so, we are seeking Mental Health Technicians with compassionate hearts with ability to provide personal care for clients with serious mental illness or developmental disabilities. They are responsible for passing medications under the direction of a Medical Assistance LPN, providing transportation to day habilitation programs and client appointments, providing basic living skills trainings, and maintaining client confidentiality.


Job Requirements



  1. High school diploma or eqivalent required.
  2. Ability to pass CPR/Safety First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention, and Medication Assistance Certification trainings.
  3. Current Alabama driver license in good standing is required.
  4. Prior experience working with clients with mental illness or intellectual disabilities preferred.
  5. Excellent customer service skills and professionalism required.
