Job Description

Mid-size San Francisco law firm specializing in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation seeks an experienced Office/HR Manager to join their team. They are a well-established and highly respected law firm that values diversity, hard work, and team spirit. Base salary will be based on experience and competitive with the marketplace. Discretionary bonus and excellent benefits.
 

This employee’s primary duty is to oversee all day-to-day administrative, personnel and HR functions of the firm.  This includes direct administrative (attendance and conduct) supervision of the firm’s entire staff.  Directly supervise the Records Manager and Master Calendar Clerk.  Daily monitoring of staff workflow, firm HR record keeping, payroll, 40l(k) and profit sharing administrative matters.  Implement and update office policies and procedures in consultation and approval of the Managing Partner.  Consult with Managing Partner regarding all administrative and HR issues.  Coordinate and participate in hiring of new staff employees.  Manage and oversee the training of all newly hired staff.  Prepare recommendations for annual staff salary increase to be reviewed and approved by the Managing Partner.  Work with brokers relative to health benefits.  Manage special projects and assignments as required.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will possess both a Bachelors Degree and at least five years experience as a law firm Office/HR Manager, or relevant work experience. They will have exceptional interpersonal skills, confidence, and will enjoy multitasking. They will have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and be computer literate. Experience with legal and/or document management software a plus.
