Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, and at least1 years professional experience as a Senior Accountant. 2 years public accounting experience required. Healthcare experience required
- Ability to work cross functionally with all levels to perform job duties
- Advanced Excel skills including macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF functions
- Great plains experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial statements, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to create and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Technical Skills: General computer experience; intermediate skill level with electronic spreadsheet, database management, and word processing software.
