As a Technology Manager, you are a member of PNC's Consumer Lending Technology organization of more than 6+ employee's professionals. You will be based in Philadelphia, PA, in the 1600 Market Street facility, where you will work on the ACLS/Servicing System. Your responsibilities include the management and development of staff, regulatory and compliance governance over the system and support of all business initiatives that are aligned with the ACLS/Servicing system. You will report to a System Director of Consumer Lending Technology.
This role will serve as the liaison between Consumer Lending application technology and the Consumer Lending business to implement solutions that meet the demands of critical business objectives for the organization.
The candidate will be involved in staff management and development, regulatory and compliance initiatives, scoping and analysis, production support, implementations and on-going support associated with projects for the ACLS/Servicing system. This will include participation in requirements, design, project meetings with the LOB units and other servicing systems.
In addition, you will apply your knowledge of business systems and industry standards to help drive value for PNC's Consumer Lending Lines of Business.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
¢ A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Financial industry or Technology) preferred
¢ Requires 5+ years of related experience. Additional experience would be accepted in lieu of education. Typically requires 1-2 years of previous management experience.
* 6+ years of Technology and Staff Management experience
¢ Ability to understand the communication protocol and technology dependencies between the various platforms used by the Lending Origination systems (Mainframe and distributed platforms)
¢ Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc) is preferred
¢ Strong ability to identify business risk and impact when new technology is introduced that supports current and future business needs
¢ Self-starter with excellent communication (written and verbal), facilitation and elicitation skills
¢ Sound planning and organizational skills
¢ The ability to adapt to a fast paced changing environment
¢ High energy individual with the ability to work well in a team based organizational structure with various teams from different locations.
