Job Description

 As a Technology Methodology Consultant and a member of PNC's Information Technology group, you will be part of a diversified financial services firm that reflects the needs, values and goals of our customers, employees, communities and shareholders. You will be instrumental in helping to maintain PNC's reputation for technology excellence in both business applications and new innovations. Your area defines, implements and upholds Technology policy, methodology and process, and drives the strategic planning and operability of multiple highly integrated information technology methodologies and processes through multi-year plans.

As an integral part of this dynamic and progressive team, you will create and maintain training materials, define the product attributes, and handle demand-management for specified products. Utilizing our state-of-the-art resources, you will also optimize automation, configuration and integration of specific products with other products and components. Drawing upon your impressive analytical and reasoning skills, you will contribute to strategic plans and monitor highly integrated information technology methodologies and processes. PNC is committed to threading integrity, teamwork and customer focus through every aspect of our daily work and performance. You will implement this philosophy as you provide functional and technical assistance to end users on a daily basis. You will serve as the expert in technology methodologies for your area and may conduct training forums. You will be the serve as the SME and the final point of contact for specific products.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of related experience

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Significant understanding of project management methodologies and processes

  • Knowledge of service-level agreements and ability to develop and track metrics

  • Ability to manage projects through the entire project management lifecycle

  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology risk and compliance controls

  • Ability to act train and mentor staff

  • Strong problem solving skills¬†
