We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our marketing team which includes experience roofing and marketing managers.  In this role the Associate Product Manager will be on the commercial marketing team working with single ply accessories and supporting other projects on the single ply team. The marketing team is responsible for product and brand management.  The group develops business to business marketing strategy and is heavily involved in hands-on general management and execution in the manufacturing industry.  GAF’s performance culture and relatively flat organization give tremendous opportunity to make a difference and deliver impact with a relatively high degree of autonomy in a lean and fast-paced environment.
 
The Associate Product Manager’s responsibilities will include formal product management responsibilities, as well as a variety of projects to grow share and mix including:
 

•         New Product Development-work cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and sales to identify and execute new product introductions.  Multiple new product introductions expected on an annual basis.

•         Marketing Management-develop a strategic marketing agenda; apply creativity and flair to realize agenda through promotions, literature and samples, advertising, and merchandising.

•         Business Review and Optimization- identify and realize business improvements on enhancement of mix and profitability

The Associate Product Manager position is based at the corporate offices in Wayne, NJ (about 50-55 minutes northwest of New York City). 

Job Requirements

MBA preferred but not mandatory. Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in strategic brand or product management experience and the commitment and passion to apply this experience in a business to business marketing setting.  Candidate should be a self-starter and fast learner, natural leader, collaborative, and possess extremely strong interpersonal-skills.  Additionally, candidates must have the ability to present and interface directly with sales team and customers; strong project management and multi-tasking skills required.
