Your knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, frameworks such as JQuery and your desire to mentor and train others will bring added value to our digital team. As a UI Developer with a successful SF-based consulting company, youll be responsible for working with both creative and application teams on large-scale highly interactive digital user experiences utilizing responsive design techniques. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Working with a design team and an application engineering team to develop a front-end user interface that will integrate with a Portal and content management platform (IBM WebCenter, formerly FatWire) Developing a front-end responsive prototype and help java web developers integrate and debug across browsers and devices Work closely with the design team to follow wireframes, comps and other design artifacts in an iterative manner Take a creative approach to introducing responsive behaviors within vendor-provided UI frameworks Maintain and manage the file structure of the code, automate syntax checking, compilation of CSS, minification, etc. using tools like Grunt Technical Skill Set Expert skills in HTML5/CSS3 real world experience Have worked with at least one responsive design framework: (Bootstrap / Gumby / etc.) Advanced level development with at least one of the following JavaScript frameworks: (Backbone, Angular, Skeleton) Advanced level development with known JavaScript libraries such as Modernizr as well as know how to develop fully object-oriented JavaScript Hands on experience coding/debugging AJAX requests / AJAX JQuery and JSON against web services (SOAP/RESTful) Be able to create, edit, refactor, maintain, debug and troubleshoot a responsive layout using CSS media queries including table-less CSS layouts by hand and demonstrate the ability to write, organize and compile fully maintainable LESS/SASS. Expert knowledge of DOM, W3C Standards, Browser Standards Client side debugging using Firebug, Chrome Web Developer, Fiddler, and etc. (on web and multiple devices) Have worked with code repositories (SVN, GitHub, Perforce, etc.) in an enterprise environment and understand working with branched code strategies Know the fundamentals: design patterns (MVC), OOP concepts, Frameworks, Code Libraries, etc. Portfolio of any web application work that you can demo / whiteboard for others.
