PNC's Corporate Audit Division, provides assurance to PNC's Board of Directors and executive management regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of PNC's risk management, control, and governance processes. As an Audit Process Manager, you will have the opportunity participate in a sophisticated environment covering a range of subject matter including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management.
Your primary role will be to work with Senior Audit Managers and the Director to ensure the reliability of processes and controls as well as the accuracy of information in PNC's Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and Realty Services groups. In addition to routine work in these areas, you will have the opportunity to lead large, complex audits covering significant business initiatives including technology implementations and process changes. Regular ongoing audit testing includes performing independent evaluations of the design and operating effectiveness of key controls, evaluating significant business processes, as well as providing support to PNC's external auditors.
Leadership opportunities include exercising judgment in applying a risk-based audit methodology, participating in the annual audit planning process, leading individual audit planning process to set audit scopes, and informally supervising and mentoring staff.
As a member of the Corporate Audit team you will gain exposure to a variety of departments within PNC and will also have the opportunity to continue to grow personally and professionally through both formal training and by working alongside more experienced members of our Corporate Audit Division.
The location of this position is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required.
-Advanced degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc) is desirabl
-Typically 6+ years of experience in auditing or line of business. Two years supervisory experience preferred.
-Significant knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, business processes, COSO and IIA standards
-Significant knowledge of LOB/Function products/services, systems utilized, regulatory/legal requirements and financial statements
-Significant experience and knowledge of financial services industry
-Ability to translate risk areas into specific projects within the audit plan
-Ability to manage/supervise large groups of professionals to accomplish team objectives
-Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and projects and manage the related resources
-Strong analytical abilities
