Overview:

As a National Expansion Recruiter for TQL, you are in charge of finding top talent for the entry-level sales representative role. We’ll equip you with a hundred and one reasons why TQL is the best logistics brokerage firm to work for in the nation (and we have the awards to prove it). From there, you’ll work to connect with and hire the most capable candidates.

Job Requirements

Your job:

  • Find quality hires through phone calls. More calls means more hires and a bigger bonus.    
  • Source active and passive candidates from various resources, including campus activities, internet job boards, social media and employee referrals.
  • Facilitate the hiring process for open positions, including interviewing and screening applicants while documenting candidate activity in our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Participate and assist with job fairs, presentations and various on-campus recruiting activities as needed.
  • Provide white glove customer service during the interview process.
  • Establish and grow relationships with community and college contacts as well as local professionals.
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing grassroots strategies to help promote TQL in the community to attract driven and successful entry-level professionals.
  • Conduct over-the-phone and in-person interviews to screen and gain a greater understanding of the candidate’s previous experience while emphasizing the sales representative opportunity at TQL.
  • Document conversations, interview statuses, offers and feedback in our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers, supervisors, and teammates. We recognize the value of teamwork.
  • Lend a hand with recruiting based projects on an as-needed basis.

What you need to get your foot in the door:

  • 1+ years of formal recruiting experience.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently. You’re responsible for your success.
  • Experience with Boolean search logic to independently source candidates.
  • Must present professional demeanor and interaction at all internal and external levels.
  • Highly motivated work ethic with a competitive drive to be the very best. Recruiting fuels the machine.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Enthusiastically promote TQL and the sales representative role to potential employees. We’re chosen because we’re driven.
  • Willing to travel with occasional overnight stays.
  • Slackers need not apply.
