HHS is seeking qualified candidates for Payroll Director.

Oversees the Payroll Department and its various functions to include ADP Payroll (Hourly and Salaried) , Time and Labor Management, HRIS,  Reporting and analytics.  Supervisors several direct reports.  Ensures compliance with Fair Wage and Labor Standards Act.

Job Requirements

  • Oversees the Day to Day operations of the Payroll department.
  • Ensures Timely Processing/Delivery of payroll cycles for the Hourly and Management employees through ADP. Oversees and directs the processes of the complete payroll cycle to ensure deadlines are met with completeness and accuracy. Reviews payroll register to ensure all entries have been captured and represented on the payroll accurately.
  • Ensures Company compliance with Fair Wage and Labor Standards Acts.
  • Reviews all manual checks for need, validity and accuracy.
  • Assists in the preparation of the upload to GL  and posts payroll entries.
  • Review and accept/deny positive pay exceptions hitting the payroll bank account.  Track void and stop paid checks/direct deposits and garnishment returns to ensure credits from ADP for those funds. 
  • Quarterly and Year End Reports/documentation reconciliations. Perform quarterly 941 reconciliations to master control and GL. Perform year end reconciliations and adjustments I order to produce W-2's
  • Comply listings of stale dated checks.
  • Run and Distribute various reports to a variety of PC Directors, Corporate and Executive staff.
  • Plan and train for development of payroll staff members. Provide solid direction and instruction for payroll processes and concepts.  Continually review processes to ensure we provide the most accurate and efficient service possible.
  • Assist employees with payroll related questions and issues as needed.



2-5 Years Payroll Experience

Education:  Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent work experience
