Role Summary/Purpose:

Product support for Epicor’s Prelude software.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing helpdesk application support for Epicor’s enterprise software solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by successfully responding and resolving customer questions in a timely manner.
  • Respond to questions and issues received through Epicor’s web support or via 1-800 telephone support systems.
  • Write-up calls, publish knowledge-based solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customers.

Job Requirements

  • Previous knowledge of Epicor’s Prelude software products required.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry and its business practices is required.
  • Written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent problem solving ability and logic skills are also required.
  • Customer service mindset is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and bring issues to resolve with limited guidance from supervisors and strong PC skills required.
  • This position requires a self-motivated, team player with a strong desire to work in a customer support position within the software industry.
  • Will consider entry level candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Distribution preferred) or 2 to 3 years equivalent work experience in the wholesale distribution industry.
