Hours: FT, 40 hour, Monday-Friday, day shift

Job Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
  • Completes an initial assessment of patient and family to determine home care needs.
  • Regularly re-evaluates the patients nursing needs & use assessment data to determine care plan needs
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team, patient and patient’s family, and helps direct the work of the healthcare team to provide care that is continuous and well coordinated.
  • Counsels the patient and family in meeting end of life needs
  • Initiates appropriate preventative and palliative nursing procedures
  • Communicates with the physician regarding the patient’s needs and reports any changes in the patients condition
  • Supervises the Hospice Aides (CNA, CHHA, etc.) 

Job Requirements

  • Must have an Associates Degree, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Must have a State Certified RN license in Missouri and/or Kansas
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable source of transportation
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have 2 years experience as a professional nurse, with at least 1 year in an acute setting
  • Must be able to complete a Physical Exam, Drug Screen, and Mantoux (TB) Test
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and satisfactory reference check



Salary & Benefits:
Starting salary is determined based upon what the identified candidate is looking for and their level of experience. Other benefits include: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance, Mileage Reimbursement ($0.445 per mile), paid time off, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, and paid training.
