Robotics Surgery Coordinator

A nationally recognized San Francisco Bay area hospital that focuses on patient safety, advocacy,  and infection prevention is seeking a dynamic Robotics Surgery Coordinator.

Under the direction of the Director of Perioperative Services and physician staff, the Robotics Surgery Coordinator will directly be responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of the Robotics program that includes development and implementation of clinical and programmatic policies and procedures and capitol budgets. 

 The Robotics Surgery Coordinator will apply expertise toward management, clinical, research education, and operational outcomes.  They will also implement and be accountable for quality initiatives and metrics tracking. 

Robotics technology and treatment applications will be maintained with expert clinical knowledge.  Physician and related department staff scheduling will be coordinated with.   Coordinates all robotics training and participates in robotics surgical procedures for maximum use and efficiency. 

The Robotics Surgery Coordinator will ensure related supplies and availability for robotic procedures and will create a system for loss and damage.  Training will be provided for staff on robotic instrumentation care and cleaning.  The Manager will be able to liaison for vendors and maintain optimum performance of robotics equipment and supplies.  To secure the monthly financial statements associated with supplies in moderation to reduce costs. 

 The Robotics Surgery Coordinator will promote marketing and assistance within the community and physician service departments.  They should also be able to implement plans for disseminating education to physicians and the community in order to increase referrals and public awareness of the care in robotics options. 

Job Requirements

Robotics Surgery Coordinator Qualifications:

  • High  School diploma required.
  • Scrub Technician Certification from an accredited program preferred.
  • CA RN license preferred.
  • BA/BS or equivalent desired.
  • Surgical Technician Coordinator Required.


  • 3+ years of Operating Room experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clinical, administrative, and other promotional components. 
  • Able to work with all levels of staff and physicians within a diverse environment.
  • Knowledge of Excel, power point and computerized documentation systems preferred.
