Job Description

Great-West Financial's Human Resources HRIS team has an opening for a HR Reporting Analyst/ HRIS Analyst.

This position, under minimal supervision, prepares, develops, reviews, and responds to HR reporting and RFI/RFP requests.  It will provide technical support for HR systems, and for the ERP Human Resources Organizational structure including changes, issues, or questions.

  • Design, execute, maintain, and audit data extracts and reporting of basic to moderate complexity, from one or more data sources.
  • Performs intermediate analysis for standard metrics tracking and reporting.
  • Proactively identify problems and/or areas for potential process improvements or policy enhancements.
  • Identify needs for ERP system and Business Intelligence ad-hoc reports and queries with moderate complexity from one or more databases
  • May mentor/coach lower level team members.
  • Responds to RFI and RFP requests from divisional clients.
  • Performs as auxiliary support for daily maintenance to a multi-dimensional organizational structure, Employee Self-Service functionality, and other issues as needed.
  • Provide direct support as SME to HR system processing, upgrades, and annual cycle projects, involving Project leadership, requirements gathering, documentation, and QA/UAT testing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years experience with financial analysis or reporting experience
  • SAP, Oracle, or other ERP Organizational reporting experience
  • Proven MS Office skills, with advanced skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain discretion and work with sensitive/confidential subject matter required.
  • Proven interpersonal communications skills and customer service.

Highly Desired:

  • Previous experience in a corporate HR environment
