Robert Half Technology is recruiting for a Direct Hire .Net Web Developer. This is a full time position with an international company. Our client is an industry leader in their field, with a growing technology staff. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop web applications using .NET Framework 4.5, most apps were upgraded to 4.0, but some legacy still in classic ASP - Use JQUERY, JQUERY Mobile, to port, or rewrite existing applications to mobile devices. Also currently using PhoneGap. - Plan, coordinate and develop accurate, creative, professional solutions utilizing current development languages and tools. - Create PC and Web based applications using .net suite and other development tools. Proficient with ASP.NET and Visual Studio. - Responsibility of directly and indirectly supporting various software packages, including knowledge transfer and roll out of client side upgrades. - Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax HTML, CCS, JQuery and Webkit. - Ability to work with OLE DB, ODBC and other types of remote data sources including AS/400. - Ability to work with Active Server Pages and ASP.NET. - VB, VBScript, Macros and forms. - HTML, ASP, PDF, JavaScript - responsible for Company Intranet. - Ability to work with VB.NET. - Tests computer systems and applications to determine criticality of component loss. - Fully document new and existing procedures, applications as well as creating troubleshooting and training material. - Assist users to resolve computer related problems such as inoperative hardware or software. - Understanding of SQL, Database Administration and system security - Ability to stay current with new software, hardware and development tools and techniques. - Solve problems and communicate effectively with end users and co-workers.

Job Requirements

+ Bachelors degree plus a minimum of three years of relevant application development (ASP.NET, VB.NET) experience. + Extensive knowledge of PC based software (Microsoft, off-the-shelf and custom developed). + Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to compose reports, correspondence and documentation.
