New Mexico based software development firm is seeking a QA Engineer. Our Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans. Our QA team works closely with development, in an Agile scrum environment to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost effective manner. Testing techniques range from manual black box UI testing to data-driven gray box automated testing. This position will also take an active role in the creation of automated tests. Job Requirements

The successful QA Engineer will have: Hands-on experience with software testing methods, processes, and tools, with an aim towards continual improvement. Proven success in writing and maintaining automated tests on Windows and Linux platforms.Must be able to navigate Linux file severs, bash commands and overall familiarity with Linux is required. Be passionate about software testing, open-source software, and solving hard problems. Good at technical writing (bug reports, test plans, test specifications). Good understanding of SQL and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web services, APIs, REST, JSON, XML, etc. Experience with build and test tools such as Jenkins, ANT, JUnit, Selenium Webdriver, JMeter, or others. Comfortable coding in Java, Groovy, C#, Python, Ruby or such (or development experience that proves you could become an expert quickly). Experience and comfort working with remote and offshore teams. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent education, training and experience.
