Scheduled Days:  Mon-Fri
Shift Begins and Ends:  7am-5:30pm
Job Description:  

This RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates direct patient care in the Electrophysiology Laboratory. Educates patients regarding diagnoses, procedures and treatments, and collects data for research or quality improvement projects. Coordinates physician activities with referring physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, ancillary services, support services, insurance companies and other departments/sections and agencies as needed.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in nursing required.
Experience requirements: At least two-three years prior critical care experience required, prior EP or cath lab experience strongly preferred. Comfort in active role in airway, sedation and pain management.

Licensure: Current Illinois registered nurse license required. NASPE certification preferred. ACLS certified preferred.
