We are seeking a client focused, talent Accountant to join our Saginaw office.   Responsibilities will include:


  • Prepares and reviews a broad range of individual, corporate, S-Corporation and other entity tax returns, including some complex returns

  • Conducts detail reviews of individual and business tax returns

  • Communicates review points in an effective manner with Associates                      

  • Supervises and reviews detail accounting functions such as trial balances, bank reconciliations, journal entries and fixed asset schedules

  • Prepares and reviews accounting, compilation and review work papers

  • Mentors and trains Intern and Staff Associates

 


Job Requirements


Candidates must have 2-5 years relevant experience in public accounting or industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.   Candidate should have the ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion
Ability to self-direct, and manage multiple deadlines
Licensed CPA
Career oriented, seeking advancement
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically
