As a Route Sales Representative your goal is to provide timely and accurate deliveries to both residential and businesses. As a member of the Operations Team of delivery professionals and working in defined geographic routes, you will provide deliveries to cover the routes of assigned Route Sales Representatives during vacations and time off. You will begin your day with an AM process established to ensure all products necessary are loaded and on board your delivery truck before you go out to begin your delivery day. Route assignments are delegated daily or weekly by local managers.
You must be a self-starter and well organized. Your workday will begin at 6:00AM. A typical delivery day has approx. 100 customers and daily bottle average is between 160-230 5-gallon bottles. At the end of the day, after all customers are served and after inventory audit of your vehicle, you must account for all deliveries in a daily settlement process. Customers are then contacted related to next day delivery commitments. Your day ends when all daily activities are complete.
Customers drive our business and your decisions must be based on customer’s needs and priorities. ALL CUSTOMERS need to be delivered to on their regular scheduled delivery day!!
Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide outstanding customer service and putting the customer needs first.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence people in order to deliver products and services to established accounts.
Demonstrated ability to lift and carry 5 gallon bottles of water continuously over 10-12 hour shifts.
Posses valid California Drivers license & clean MVR.
No more than one preventable accident in past 3 years.
No DUI/DWI convictions or violations in past 36 months, and no “serious” moving violations in last 12 months.
Able to work 6AM – 6PM Mon – Fri.
You will be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing, background check, DOT / Physical Ability Testing.
