Job Description

Service Desk Specialist – CONTRACT – Patuxent River, MD

Service Desk Specialist Skills & Requirements:

  • 5-9 years of experience required with at least 4 years of experience using Remedy. 
  • Certified in accordance with DODD 8570.1 
  • Information Assurance Technician I. 
  • Certification required in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 Foundation. 
  • High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). 
  • 8570 Certification: IAT 1:A+Network+SSCP 
  • ES Certs: ITIL v3 Foundations

Service Desk Specialist Job Summary:

Develop scripts, analyze tailored reports, review and correlate audits, conduct Tier 1 and higher tiered analysis in response to Service Desk escalation, monitor tickets to correlate events and incidents for maintaining overall required levels of performance of Information Technology Services.
