Looking for a QA Engineer. The company is seeking a QA Engineer with gray box testing experience in web and mobile applications, along with execution, and automation of functional and system-­level tests that validate the features, algorithms, performance, and usability of The company Inc. technology on both the client and server sides. In this position you will need to communicate with the software development team on definition, implementation, and testing of pre-­production and production systems. You should be able to identify, propose, and implement SQA/test planning, produce quality metrics, manage defect reports, improve defect prevention, and contribute to the product development efficiency and overall quality in a team environment. Responsibilities: Test and report defects for both front end and back end applications for web, iOS, and Android utilizing both manual and automated testing. Deploy and maintain environments for web/mobile and server-­side (Linux) applications. Design, execute, and automate Test Suites for client and server-­side web, as well as for iOS and Android mobile devices. Accomplish assigned duties with minimal supervision, and to function effectively as part of a diverse team. Build communication and collaboration with other teams and work well across the organization. Document your work well. Required skills: Minimum 3 years of experience in software test and automation for web/mobile. Hands-­on experience developing, designing, writing and executing test plans, test cases, and procedures. Experience with Robot Framework and Selenium. Understanding of web applications: HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, HTTP protocol, cookies/sessions, browser differences, web servers. Experience in software development and testing tools in an Agile environment. Hands-­on experience with using SQL queries against DBs. Hands-­on experience with at least one scripting language (bash, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby). Hands-­on experience with issue tracking tools such as Bugzilla or Jira. Attention to detail, with a self starter mentality, start up energy and enthusiasm. Sense of humor, great communication, ability to think on the fly, and willingness to pivot given the needs of the company. Strong root cause analysis abilities. BS in either of Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent experience. Desired skills: Good knowledge of object oriented design and implementation. Experience with Git, Arcanist, Jenkins.
