The Director, Operations and Support will be responsible for building, supporting and maintaining effective relationships with each owner/franchisee/general manager within the Super 8 Wyndham Hotel Brand.  The Director will be a primary contact for a portfolio of brand specific properties within a non-geographical region.  The Director will help our owners operate more efficiently and support them in using our brands and services to the fullest.  Within this region the Director will act as a brand consultant charged with reviewing and improving all major functions of hotel performance, including but not limited to revenue growth and brand standard/program compliance.

Job Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required, preferably, property and corporate management experience
  • Multi-unit experience or at least three years experience as a successful General Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Regional Sales Director or Property Director of Sales
  • Knowledge of hotel industry and trends
  • Excellent PC and technology systems skills including property management systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and follow up skills
  • Driven, self-starter
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to lead
  • Dynamic presentation skills
  • Ability to manage conflict effectively
  • This position will require up to 75% travel throughout a specified region
