Global Sales Account Manager, Financial Services

$100-120k base plus commission plan

The consulting arm of an industry leader is expanding their sales leadership.  This division focuses on Financial Services clients and is poised for tremendous growth. 

Interviewing over next two weeks

  • • Account Managers, Consulting Services, identify consulting and global sourcing opportunities within their client’s development and operational areas
  • • They are accountable for meeting revenue and relationship objectives and for growing revenues attained across their client portfolio and new business
  • • They offer services in the field of business strategy, including marketing, human resources, financial and management controls etc.
  • • They are accountable for meeting specific relationship and revenue objectives across their client portfolio. They hold P&L responsibilities across their accounts
  • • They perform detailed analysis in relation to business processes, product utilization, cost efficiencies etc., and architect solutions for the clients’ business. Some of these could be offshore-leveraged
  • • They carry out research and data collection and conduct analysis of the industry trends and interview the client’s employees, the management team and other stakeholders
  • • They conduct workshops and run focus group, prepare business proposals or presentations after studying the requirements of the clients and the targets
  • • As the client’s single-point of contact for service delivery, Account Managers work closely with teams and any third-party vendors involved in the proposed solution, and will directly manage any project personnel, to provide the most suitable and effective service to their customers
  • • They facilitate teams assembled to address a client’s business problem or need and ensure that the recommended solutions are successfully implemented.
  • • Account Managers meticulously track Service Level Agreements, manage their client’s priorities, and maintain a master project plan for their assigned client(s)
  • • This includes managing all implementation and delivery timelines, tasks, and milestones. They continually measure customer satisfaction and work with various company teams to ensure the highest client satisfaction
  • • They may provide input into the future direction of the company’s services and continuously identify potentially offshoring business opportunities
  • • They possess sound analytical abilities and business development skills supplemented by domain and product knowledge, enabling a good understanding of their client’s operations, client’s offerings, and business processes

Skills and Specifications

  • • Should have consulting experience with a thorough knowledge of the latest Financial Services industry trends
  • • They must have a strong ability to drive sales
  • • They must possess leadership skills and motivate others
  • • They must be able to work under pressure

Education and Qualifications

  • • 10-14 years’ experience in a relevant industry
  • • At least a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, sales, etc. Diploma in computer and communication is also an added advantage
  • • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to identify business processes and translate these into solutions
  • • Should demonstrate client-facing skills, presentations to large groups, ability to translate customer requirements into solution presentations, collaboration with sales team
