The Regional Human Resources Director role is a true HR Business Partner to our lines of business leaders.  Our operations depend on this position to be highly engaged with the Line of Business leaders to provide a strategic, proactive approach to all of their human resource needs.  This position must successfully demonstrate leadership ability that supports the goals, mission and values of the company.  This position directs and oversees the implementation of HR programs and processes to ensure the most effective utilization of human capital needed to maximize business performance in the designated region.  The Regional Human Resources Director influences the alignment of HR and operations by engaging the Business Line Leaders to gain acceptance for strategic HR decisions.  The Regional Human Resources Director will ensure the successful execution of Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Planning, Staffing, Learning Performance Management, Employment Practices, and HR communications for their region.  This role is part of a collaborative HR team who prides themselves on their flexible approach to the company's needs and a willingness to work together with subject matter experts for specific projects.


  • Provides Human Resources Generalist support to the assigned region/line of business to assist them in meeting their growth targets.
  • Responsibilities include providing sound guidance to operational Human Resources in the areas of employee relations, HR related investigations, training and development, regulatory compliance, compensation initiatives, and performance management.
  • Provide guidance to operational Human Resources in the areas of employee recruitment, hiring/onboarding and retention.
  • Lead and advise operations in all aspects of Human Resources to ensure company compliance with all Employment/Labor laws and regulations.
  • Regular site visits to all operations within the responsibility of this role to mentor and coach operational HR.
  • Ensure the execution of HR programs/processes in the areas of OD,Staffing, Performance Management, Learning, and Employment Practices.
  • Evaluate regional HR practices and trends to ensure best-in-class HR solutions are implemented throughout the regional business unit.
  • Partners with the divisional and centralized HR partners (Staffing, OD, Talent Management, Employee Practices) to identify strategies to meet short and long-term HR needs in the region and division and provide ongoing feedback regarding HR processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Consultative HR services delivery with strategic focus.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Strong formal presentation/facilitation skills with the ability to adjust appropriately to the audience.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of employees.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience required.
  • Extensive travel required (60% to 80%).
