As a Treasury Analyst I in the Treasury Department of Midland Loan Services, you will perform a wide variety of tasks such as reviewing and initiating foreign and domestic electronic funds transfers (with a daily authority up to US$50 million ), creating and reviewing disbursement checks, and posting payment receipts to various internal and external systems. Multiple intra-day deadlines require a thorough working knowledge of policies and procedures as well as solid knowledge of relevant banking regulations. You will also gather information to resolve internal/external client issues, to satisfy requests received from customers, to make business process decisions, and to execute on department processes. You will perform basic financial calculations and reconciliation activities which may involve comparing results, resolving discrepancies and initiating correcting transactions.

The hours follow a basic workweek, but may allow for some flexibility depending on the needs of your clients as well as the balance of your workgroup.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-2 years of relevant banking or treasury experience required
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications
-Proven mathematical skills and analytical skills
-Demonstrated business and professional writing skills
-Strong verbal communication skills
-Evidence of time management and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently with limited supervision
