As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Lead and a member of PNC's Information Technology group, you will be part of a diversified financial services firm that reflects the needs, values and goals of our customers, employees, communities and shareholders. You will be instrumental in helping to maintain PNC's reputation for technology excellence in both business applications and new innovations. Your area provides quality assurance, analytical and research support for assigned development initiatives, including new product and service enhancements, and hardware and software application installations or upgrades. As an integral part of this dynamic and progressive team, you will work under limited supervision you will lead all levels system software testing within the QA testing cycle.
You will lead the systems and/or acceptance testing process for our clients, end users and systems groups to identify, evaluate and execute test requirements including software enhancements and production support. You will participate/lead projects complex in nature which may extend across several applications within a business unit or across business units and may contribute in evaluations of vendor software. You will also provide clear and concise defect reporting with appropriate evidence of systems issues, including traceability. Your contributions will certainly reinforce PNC's business objectives and produce value-added results to the overall organization. This person may does not directly supervise staff, but may provide input on performance ratings.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
8 Years of related business applications experience or applicable testing experience
Display proficiency in back-end testing and familiarity with hierarchical/relational databases
Proficient analytical, documentation and attention to detail skills
Effective communications skills
Ability to utilize various desktop analysis and reporting tools preferred
Ability to manage those who do not have a direct reporting relationship
