The Home Instead Senior Care family network of locally owned franchise offices was developed with a passionate desire to be your trusted in-home care agency, to help your family keep your aging mother, father, grandparents or friends in their home as they grow older. Home Instead Senior Care in the Naperville, Aurora, Oswego, Yorkville, Fox Valley area is committed to helping our community's seniors, whether it is through companionship, meal preparation, personal care, or assistance with activities of daily living. We are passionate about exceeding the needs of our elderly community and are consistently graded highly by our clients and their families for excellent quality care.

We are currently looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Openings in Dupage, Kane, Will and Kendall Counties.  Part-time days, weekend and live-in shifts available.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal Care
  • Personal Care
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Job Requirements

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Professional & personal references that can be verified
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 25 pounds; perform activities that require kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching, carrying or stooping
  • Willing to work a minimum of one weekend a month
  • Ready to be on-call (provides on call pay)
