Dimension & Scope:
 
As a Mobile Applications Developer Associate, the selected candidate will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of a computer system (may include IVR and CTI systems) as designated by a Manager or a group/team leader, all while fulfilling the approved technical and design specifications.
 
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review program specifications based on technical and design specifications from the manager or team leader
  • Write computer programs, assemble, and create unit test data to test program decision processes prior to turnover for Quality Assurance testing
  • Analyze problems in terms of mobile application system and programming requirements
  • Make modifications to the programs to ensure that the program meets the specifications and conforms to the overall system
  • Produce and maintain program documentation
  • Perform basic investigation and research of system environments (i.e. reporting systems, switching systems, computer systems, etc.) to assist in resolving existing program problems or identify solutions to new business requirements
  • Make necessary modifications for centrally developed systems by analyzing the program, determining the problem, and applying the corrective procedure
  • Establish maintenance procedures for the system
  • Participate in training programs
 Education & Professional Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline  
 Candidate Profile:
  • The position requires proficiency in at least one relevant programming and control language
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Must have proficiency with various software application programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong technical aptitude
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced C# skills (Plus:  WPF, LINQ, and TPL)
  • Knowledge of Mobile UI best practices for iOS and Android
  • Familiarity with Objective-C and Java
  • Familiarity with Google Play and Apple App Store submission and review processes
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web API  and ASP.NET MVC
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2012/2013 and Xamarin Studio
