Job Description


The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate the growth of clinical programs in coordination with the Clinical Team and our Field Leadership teams. Occasional independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.



The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Coordinate with the Clinical Team and Field Leadership, to ensure the growth of Rite Aid's Business to Business Flu and Immunization Clinic Program.
  • Lead as primary point of contact and assist in soliciting and contacting businesses, provide information on pricing, insurance billing, assist in scheduling and executing the clinic opportunity and track and quantify the success of the program.
  • Assist the Clinical Team in scheduling, communication and execution of all Clinical initiatives to maximize results.
  • Serve as a resource for Field Leadership for Business to Business contracting issues to ensure proper execution of contracts for legal compliance and proper payment.
  • Serve as a resource for Pharmacists, Wellness Ambassadors and Pharmacy Technicians to drive Business to Business outreach and execution.
  • Assist the DI center in the scheduling of Comprehensive Medical Reviews with patients, be a resource to Pharmacists to address questions regarding NexGen entry of results to maximize completion of CMR's and Theraptuic Intervention Programs.
  • Assist in execution of our Diabetes Programs to maximize the results of the programs.
  • Improve results of Travel Clinic programs by  being a resource for technicians.
  • Understand the Refill Sync process and be a resource for Pharmacists and Technicians.

The following qualities are required:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old for full time employment.
  • Ability to pass drug test.

  • Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work extended days on an/occasional basis.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
  • Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

Associate's degree (AA) or Two (2) years experience in Community Pharmacy, Technician/Retail experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
