The candidate will be part of the Software Development team in the DeltaV Control software group. This software development group is responsible for the Control software/firmware for the DeltaV Control system for both continuous and batch processes as well as our Safety systems. This candidate will be responsible for working on our existing and future Batch Control software. This software is or will be written in C++ and/or C# for execution on PCs in a Microsoft Windows environment. Candidate must be willing to work in a small team environment. Candidate will interface and coordinate development across multiple groups and multiple worldwide locations so good written and verbal communication skills are required.
Position responsibilities include the generation of use cases and designs in accordance with requirements and specifications, code development, unit level testing and integration testing. Additional responsibilities include software support and maintenance of released software. All software will be developed using object-oriented and/or services based methodologies.
Candidate should have experience and/or knowledge of Windows based application development in a real time environment including object-oriented analysis, design and implementation using C, C++ and C#. Experience and/or knowledge Microsoft DCOM and ATL classes, Batch process control, microprocessor based systems, embedded real-time development and real-time operating systems is a plus.

BS Comp Science, CE or EE + 0 - 2 years of experience; OR MS Eng. or Comp Science + 1 year of experience
