Job Requirements

The primary focus of this position is to drive sales and new business revenue through Mobile Mini outside sales channels, setting the strategic direction of MMI outside sales efforts through sales managers.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive Sales, Profitability and Margin Growth through the outside sales force
    • Develop and execute the Mobile Mini outside sales force strategies
    • Develop territory, market penetration and sales execution strategies to consistently attain and exceed goals
    • Establish and drive attainment of aggressive sales targets


  • Leadership
    • Ensuring the outside sales team achieves and exceeds sales activity targets
    • Determine sales process and tolls necessary to drive sales penetration and new customer wins
    • Establish and maintain a sales operating rhythm
    • Training and coaching sales behaviors
    • Providing strategic direction in identifying new opportunities in both non-construction and construction markets
    • Participating in joint calls and face-to-face meetings with key customers


  • Other duties as assigned.  Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job.


Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing an outside sales team
  • Proven leadership skills with a background in building and inspiring cohesive sales teams
  • Proven record of building and retaining a highly effective outside sales team
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision making, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to organize, remain productive, manage multiple goals and have an immediate impact in a high-growth sales environment
  • Strategic planning and implementation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, both on the road and overnight
