Web Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the leadership of projects that are cross functional, developing a schedule to ensure project completion, and delivering on desired outcomes. They must be accountable for comprehending the project scope and project objectives, to effectively coordinate the work activities of the team members and ensure completion of the project within the published timeline.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
-Manages all phases of a project and deliver assigned projects aligned with the needs of the organization, on schedule and on budget. -Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project schedule. -Create a project plan with clear articulation of business outcomes -Resolve issues and conflicts, remove barriers, and resolve minor project issues -Act as escalation point for potential conflicts between direction and project constraints -Manages project scope/requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions

Job Requirements

Requirements
-Bachelor degree or equivalent education/experience -5-7 years experience managing medium to large sized projects ($500K or larger) -Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies -Experience managing several significant projects simultaneously -PMP Certification preferred -Experience with public-facing websites -Advanced verbal and written communications skills required to manage communications to all clients -Highly organized, with strong customer service, interpersonal and time management skills -Attention to detail -Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals -Advanced knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics -Advanced user proficiency with computer software, such as MS Office, MS Project and/or Visio -Advanced understanding of IT principals, including lifecycle planning, estimating and architecture -Experience with JIRA and JIRA Agile a plus. -Experience working with offshore teams.
