Producer - Project Manager

Job Description

NetSpend’s Creative and User Experience team develops a range of print and digital solutions including websites, web applications, digital marketing programs, social media campaigns, mobile and web analytics. We are seeking a Producer to manage these projects from kick-off to delivery on time and on strategy. The successful candidate will have excellent interactive producer and account skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full design and front end development lifecycle for print, interactive web,  and mobile projects
  • Work with the internal teams to define the scope of projects and prepare project time and effort estimates
  • Lead the design initiation, planning, requirements, development, production, monitoring, and maintenance of each project
  • Monitor and manage projects from day to day, week to week, phase to phase, and project to project
  • Serve as key in-house contact for project progress, related activities and issue/problem reporting and resolution.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the project scope, timeline, resource management and overall quality of the deliverables.
  • Partner closely with the Account and Marketing teams to interface with clients on projects – helping define vision, clarifying strategic requirements, explaining complex ideas clearly, and managing expectations
  • Communicate effectively (written and oral) with stakeholders on the project status, challenges, and solutions
  • Lead efficient meetings and conference calls with the ability to effectively setup the presentation of creative work
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation including statements of work, scope documentation, status reports, invoices, change orders, project schedules and budgets, and post mortem reviews
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for project-specific activities
  • Manage and build internal relationships on a project level
  • Support cross-functional teams, including user experience specialists, designers, and developers
  • Work with other PMs to follow established and improve existing processes
  • Work with Creative Resource Manager to secure Creative Team resources
  • Acts as internal quality control check for all programs and projects to ensure they meet requirements

 

Skills/Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years producer experience with an emphasis on digital projects (websites, digital applications and new media production)
  • Experience as a producer at an advertising/creative agency, interactive production house or similar environment
  • Basic to expert understanding all production disciplines - print, digital, sound and motion and/or live events production
  • Strong knowledge of the creative process
  • Working knowledge of web development technologies. (e.g. Experience with online content management systems, rich media, SEO, PPC, CRM, social media, mobile, and emerging technologies)
  • Understanding of file requirements (dimensions, size, type, etc.) and transmission vehicles (FTP, Site Served, DART, Atlas, etc.)
  • Strong vocabulary of Internet terminology (FLA vs. SWF, GIF vs. JPG, PDF vs. PSD, Hosting vs. Redirecting)
  • Understanding of direct marketing principles and requirements and their relation to user experience
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to marketing and non-technical partners
  • Organized, extremely detail oriented and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Possesses strong leadership skills and problem resolution abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for multiple audiences
  • Positive attitude under pressure, outgoing, approachable and proactive
