Job Description

East West Bank is currently seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative (SCSR). These are representatives who process transactions and introduce bank’s products/services at the teller line. The candidate will demonstrate East West Bank’s Vision, Mission, and Values through words and actions. You will Enhance customer satisfaction by warmly greeting customers, consistently engaging, and connecting with customers.

Duties (not limited to):
  • Cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments
  • Documenting larger deposits using Currency Transaction Reports
  • Identifying and selling East West Bank products and services beneficial to customer needs
  • Addressing customer questions/concerns referring to appropriate internal resources for resolution
  • Identifying fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses to the Bank
  • Developing new customer relationships and opening new accounts for customers
  • Provide training to handle commercial loans, depository transactions, and inquiries

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bilingual Chinese, Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
  • At least one year of recent customer service experience
  • At least one year of recent cash handling experience
  • At least one year of previous teller experience
  • At least one year of previous new accounts experience in a banking institution
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work on weekends
