Associate Production Engineer

Job Description

  • Create and update build documentation (Work Instructions, routings, and production bill of materials based on design drawings and documentation).
  • Work with Production Engineers on creation of SMT programs and stencils and selective solder fixtures and programs.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of SMT and selective solder equipment.
  • Support Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) production personnel to resolve defects and day to day production and assembly issues.
  • Work with production engineers on implementing new processes and continuous improvements.

Job Requirements

  • 2 year degree in an electronics related field and at least 3 years experience working in an electronic assembly environment required, or a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in an electronics related field required.
  • Must be familiar with SMT, through hole, hand soldering and assembly and/or selective or wave solder processes and documentation.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and PC skills are required.
