  • Enable and integrate carrier sip PSTN connecting in to the RingCentral network
  • Interop testing and turn-up of carrier SIP peering trunks
  • Design and grow HA carrier configurations with carriers and RingCentral VoIP components
  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot, resolve service issues related to VoIP and FoIP telephony platforms and applications
  • Responsible for maintaining call routing logic that incorporates Least Cost Routing
  • Participate in shared on call support rotation
  • Apply and audit security vulnerabilities of VoIP components
  • Study trends, and participate in scaling adjustments for capacity of components, resources and sessions
  • Monitor and manage call quality, and reliability of telephony infrastructure
  • Work with Engineering teams to collaborate on solutions and approach for persistence issues
  • Work with Sales Engineering teams to collaborate large customer installs
  • Develop and maintain operational process and procedure documents and network change management records

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Technical Operational experience with service provider networks
  • Advanced level understanding of SIP, RTP, RTCP and related telephony protocols/standards
  • Ability to perform SIP debugging with Empirix and Wireshark. Capture and analyze SIP and RTP traces to isolate and resolve issues
  • In-depth understanding of MOS Score, Jitter, Delay, etc and how to troubleshoot these occurrences
  • CCNP-Voice certifications
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system and/or related subsystems
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Basic level of scripting and System Administration on Windows and Linux
  • Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBC). Acme Packets is plus
  • Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper Routers
  • VoIP Qos audit on architecture and router configuration levels
  • Experience with Polycom, Cisco and other VOIP handsets and soft phones
  • Experienced user in CRM (Salesforce, Jira, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
