Our digital marketing client is looking for a Software Support Engineer for their Platform team. Their Platform team integrates 3rd-party systems into our high-performance, transactional-processing backend systems; additionally, the team supports web applications integrating into the transactional and reporting systems. They assist small-to-medium-sized companies by growing their business with online advertising. They will jump start their end clients' online advertising campaigns and drive traffic to their website by acquiring top placement on Google, Yahoo and Bing. The Software Support Engineer will support the production of tools to enable all their end clients' departments to optimize their daily work as it relates to digital marketing from campaign account management to asset creation to campaign optimization to account performance reporting. They are looking for a Software Support Engineer who is business focused, moves fast and gets things done, and enjoys working in a cross-functional team setting. Responsibilities: - Problem solving, troubleshooting, documenting, testing, maintenance, and support of web applications and windows services - Good communication skills to communicate with application developers, end users, support personnel and management - Good analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills applicable to multiple products - Contributing member of a cross-functional team but also able to work independently - Accountable for code and documentation commitments throughout the iteration - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly - Be open to learning new technologies and new problem domains

Job Requirements

- 2+ years relevant experience - Experience developing with C# and ASP.NET including MVC and/or Web API - Experience developing web UIs leveraging modern HTML and JavaScript - Familiarity in working with relational Databases such as MS SQL - Experience using Version Control such as TFS, Subversion, GitHub, etc. - Experience debugging and supporting enterprise class applications - Demonstrated excellence with development best practices & QA - Able to thrive in a fast paced performance oriented environment - Able to execute upon established protocol and communication guidelines - Passionate and obsessive about quality, efficiency and the customer Preferred Experience: - HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript, AJAX - Angular (or other HTML/JavaScript MVC framework) - Knowledge of web standards and best practices for website performance and accessibility - Experience using Jenkins or similar CI tools - Exposure to digital marketing such as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), Web Analytics, Social Advertising, Display, etc.
