Sunrun is looking for energetic, quota-driven salespeople to pioneer the role of Residential Solar Consultant.
Sunrun’s Residential Solar Consultants will have a significant impact on Sunrun’s monthly sales performance, working with our partners to acquire new customers, improve the performance of our partners’ sales forces, and maximize the customer purchasing experience in our retail sales outlets. The Residential Solar Consultant will report directly to the Regional Sales Director and will work closely with Regional Market Managers and Sunrun’s Education Department.

Responsibilities:
Go on home sales visits with our partners’ salespeople to close new business.Coach our partners’ sales force to master the delivery of Sunrun’s value proposition and competitive positioning.Work with Sunrun’s Regional Market Managers to customize and deliver Sunrun Education Programs for each Sunrun Partner.Provide Sunrun’s and our Partner’s Sales Management Team with reports, analysis and recommendations to continuously improve the performance of our partners’ sales forces.Visit Sunrun’s retail sales outlets to support Sunrun Retail Partnerships, evaluate in-store setups, and drive improvements to customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of Outside Sales related experienceSolar sales experience a plusIn-home sales experience a plusConsumer and/or retail sales experience a plus75-80% travel within defined region (see below for current FSC Territories Available)Positions based in defined regionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate effectively in a matrix organization with indirect accountability to multiple stakeholdersExperience with SFDC desired
