About NorthEast Treatment Centers:
NorthEast Treatment Centers, Inc. (NET) is a non-profit organization committed to providing behavioral health and social services to adults, adolescents, children and their families in the Greater Philadelphia region and the state of Delaware. NET seeks dedicated, caring and inspired staff members to join its diverse and family oriented team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work as part of the CUA Support Team toward achieving the objectives as established in the Single Case Plan (SCP).
• Facilitate safe case closure for in home service cases.
• Facilitate reunification or other permanency by:
• Assisting the CUA CM to focus on permanency opportunities.
• Tracking and managing the movement of cases through the permanency process.
• Assisting the CUA CM in preparing the children, youth, and families for reunification or other permanency.
• Supporting the CUA CM in preparation for Court.
• Supervise visits when necessary.
• Participate in Family Team Conferences when necessary.
• Attend Court Hearings as needed but never in lieu of the CUA CM.
• Document in the appropriate section of ECMS any activity they have performed within six business days.
• Attend and complete all training mandated by DHS and designated by NET

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years work experience with Children, Youth, and Families. Experience in Foster Care and/or Child Welfare preferred.
• Candidates with a degree in an unrelated field require a minimum of 3 years experience working in child, youth, and family serving systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field including but not limited to: Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Education, Divinity, or Public Health
• Must be flexible and willing to change work schedule to accommodate client families
• Must be able to respond to "on-call" rotation responsibilities without incurring difficulty
• Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care
• Knowledge of child and family service systems
• Knowledge of social work values and/or child welfare services
• Experience using computers
• Must have reliable means of transportation. May be required to use own vehicle when other means of transportation are unavailable.
• Valid Driver’s License (issued by state in which employee lives) and safe driving record and proof of insurance coverage
• Adhere to applicable city, county, state and federal laws and regulations, internal and CARF standards.
