The PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters) Supervisor is a Registered Nurse (RN) who assists the PICC manager and helps coordinates the PICC Service Team. This position is responsible for the coordination and provision of care for the patient while performing and monitoring the clinical insertion of a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC), Midline Catheters, Peripheral IV Catheters and other venous access devices inserted with and without the use of ultrasound guidance. Responsibilities also include planning; co-coordinating the business of the Vascular Access Service at all assigned facilities, co-coordinating and training of staff for optimum performance and maintaining systems and staff procedure skill-set for operating efficiencies and patient safety.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience required; 3-5 years of Mgmnt/Supervisor experience required and a minimum 3-5 years of Critical Care experience required.
-Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access-Board Certified (VA-BC), required
-BLS, ACLS, PALS/ required
-Active Registered Nursing Licensure required
-Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and State RN Licensure required.
-Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited school preferred.
-Prefer at least 3 years of IV Therapy, PICC Placement and Oncology experience required
