Help Desk Analyst

Job Description

The Help Desk Analyst is responsible for setup and maintaining workstation computer hardware and software. Additional responsibilities include: provisioning/deprovisioning users, network devices, printers, equipment moves, remote office support, service desk, and asset management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Understands the issue involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, internet access, email, communications, etc.
  • Understands the issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate LAN/WAN
  • Supports corporate applications, internal corporate servers, user desktops, etc.
  • Assists with troubleshooting, backup, and archiving
  • Installs and improves computer software and network equipment
  • Creates network and email accounts for new users
  • Sets up computers for new users and ensure delivery of equipment to users in different locations if necessary
  • Updates email address book
  • Answers all trouble calls/emails and ensures work orders are entered into tracking software
  • Assists in administering and maintaining tracking software
  • Interacts with internal customers for help desk issues and communicates with internal customers in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality

Job Requirements

•Requires experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, or equivalent training and/or education are necessary. 

•Customer service training and/or experience are beneficial and highly desirable.

•Associate Degree in related field preferred

•Previous Healthcare experience preferred

•2-3 years’ experience in high volume service desk environment required
