Locally based Healthcare services organization is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to provide oversight for ICD-10 and other Healthcare IT projects. Day to day responsibilities include: *Locally based Healthcare services organization is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to provide oversight for ICD-10 and other Healthcare IT projects. Day to day responsibilities include: -Work with Corporate to understand Corporate initiative, Corporate responsibilities, what is in-scope and what is out-of-scope. - Define our Regional Hospital responsibilities, what is in-scope and what is out-of-scope. - Define stakeholders, roles, responsibilities. - Work with business side (including HIM, PA, etc.) and IT side to define the ICD-10 readiness and implementation activities. - Define Steering Committee responsibilities and ensure Committee and Executive Sponsors and Corporate are fully briefed on a regular interval, ensure they are provided with specific tasks they are responsible for and they sign-off. - Communicate with stakeholders and solicit participation, translate ICD-10 language to these stakeholders, so understand their responses, and translate into ICD-10 language and terminology and move the project forward. - Create project charter, project plan, project schedule that includes detailed tasks, start/end dates, predecessors, successors, and manage the scope, deliverables, timeline and execution of the project plan. - Define and personally conduct training and oversee other training (internal staff and providers), create the communication plan. - Roll-up-the-sleeves and lead multiple ICD-10 work plan streams. - Work with the business side and oversee assessment of coding and clinical documentation improvement outcomes. - Work with the IT side and oversee applications remediation, establish application readiness dates, reach out to vendors. - Work with business and IT side and personally create test plan and test scripts and then oversee the execution of the test plan. - Report to VP Compliance, VP IT, and Senior IT Director and provide weekly written updates of project status. Job Requirements

The successful ICD-10 Project Manager will have: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college Minimum 5 years PMI PMP certification Minimum 10 years of project management experience Minimum 2 years experience in ICD-10 implementation and has best practices that can be brought to this engagement Minimum 5 years demonstrated ability to lead complex implementation projects involving cross-department and division teams Minimum 2 years experience with Cerner Minimum 10 years of experience working side-by-side with c-level's and directors and with a Corporate parent entity Must have both business and IT Prefer previous working knowledge of 3M CAC
