Director of Operations (Home Health Care Administration)

Job Responsibilities

As the Director of Operations, you will plan and develop new programs, recruit and interview management staff, and establish mechanisms for measuring quality care and organizational performance. You will be responsible for the long range planning and fiscal viability of the organization.

Additional responsibilities include:
•Fiscal planning, budgeting, and management
•Ensuring overall agency preparation for licensure and other audits and surveys as they pertain to administrative functions
•Providing an environment which fosters continuous quality improvement
•Ensuring compliance with all applicable personnel practices, standards, and regulations
•Evaluating services and programs
•Ensuring personnel development, including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education
•Serving as the Infection Control Coordinator for the Agency
•Monitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of patient care through the use of quality reports and ongoing patient chart audits
•Staying current on local trends and issues
•Directing personnel in performance of their duties
•Ensuring the accuracy of public information materials and activities
•Following all privacy policies of CareSouth and maintaining the confidentiality of protected healthcare information (PHI)

Director of Operations requirements:
•Currently licensed in the agency state of operation as a Registered Nurse
•3-5+ years of experience in health care management, preferably in homecare operations management
•Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
•Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community
•Knowledge of corporate business management
