Compensation: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year

Senior Software Engineer with front and back end experience needed to develop web applications and web analytics, and write software to display customer data for a high-tech company, and one of the best engineering companies in the Triangle. JOB DESCRIPTION Research, design and develop secure web-based applications Develop and maintain web, client/server and mobile applications Collect and analyze information from remote sensors and figure out best display for cutomers User Interface Design and Development Interpret business requirements and produce object oriented designs

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering 4+ years of System and/or application development experience 4+ years of .NET experience with C#, MVC, ASP.NET, SQL, Cloud Applications (Azure, AWS etc) Preferred Requirements: Experience with LINQ to EF or LINQ to SQL, SQL Server 2008 or later, WCF, and Front End development (HTML, CSS, Ajax, java script): Masters in Computer Science or IT or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Good working knowledge of Web Services, MVC, Web API, Rest and JSON/XML. Complete understanding of a full software development lifecycle from concept to launch Experience working within Agile/Scrum framework and as part of a Scrum team, working within an iterative product development methodology. Strong analytical ability Keen to code for fun as well as work Passion for good software architecture, keeping up to date with technology, learning and suggesting new approaches, libraries and software. Resourcefulness to work in an ambiguous environment Self Starter, motivated individual who enjoys taking the initiative. Experience with trouble shooting, optimizing performance and an ability to balance non-functional and functional characteristics of the system. Basic experience with MS SQL Server Management.
