Job Location: Panzer Kaserne Germany
Evaluates communication hardware and software, troubleshoots LAN/MAN/WAN and other network related problems, provides technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks. Performs general LAN/BAN/WAN administration, provides technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. Schedules conversions and cutovers. Oversees network control center. Supervises staff and maintenance of systems. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites.
Four to nine (4-9) years of experience in telecommunications and/or data communications. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study (*An experiential equivalency of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years for an Associate's degree in a comparable assignment (i.e., performing the same or similar function) may be substituted for a degree. An experiential equivalency is in addition to the years of experience. IAT 2:GSEC, Security+, CESSCP
Position requires a 'Secret Clearance' prior to the start of work. Candidate must be a US citizen and either possess or be eligible for a DoD SECRET clearance.
