Job Description

Supervises the staff of the Payroll Department. Oversees the daily, monthly, and annual operating and reporting activities of the Payroll department. Processes payroll activities for UHS and CMA. Performs tasks related to the biweekly payroll closing cycle. Researches and responds to payroll questions. Reviews and reconciles payroll related ledger account activity, deductions, earnings, garnishment balances and a wide variety of other payroll

Job Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Two-year business school degree, work experience or college courses representing the equivalent of a 2 year business school degree is required. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or four to six years varied payroll and time collection experience, to include three years supervisory experience is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and ability to understand applicable policies and practices is required.
