Job Description

  • Responsible for providing expertise on complex business, financial or managerial issues within a business unit or corporate environment. 
  • Review Inventory transactions, identify and resolve discrepancies 
  • Run cost roll requests for new part #'s, including identifying readiness and contacting other depts. if data is missing 
  • Fixed Asset accounting 
  • Cash Forecasting 
  • Journal Entry creation and posting 
  • Prepare monthly Account Reconciliations 
  • Review Work Order and Price Variances and resolve discrepancies 
  • Review and update In-transit Inventory reporting 
  • Assist with Annual Standard Cost Roll 

Job Requirements

  • 4 year Degree in Accounting or equivalent or 4 year Degree in Business with a minimum of 18 hours accounting coursework. 
  • 1 - 2 years Accounting experience needed 
  • Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Access database experience highly recommended 
  • Good analytical skills needed (job requires resolving discrepancies and identifying causes) 
  • Good Time management, communicated skills and self initiative required Capable and comfortable with multi-tasking
