Job Summary

The Campus Director is responsible for campus management and meeting quarterly, annual and strategic business plans. Maintains operational control over proper financial management, quality educational delivery, effective career services, accurate maintenance of records, and marketing and informing applicants of educational opportunities.Incumbent must assure that the EDMC philosophy: quality services to clients; development, growth, involvement, and recognition of employees; sound economic principles; and environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking and expansion - is considered in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Key Job Elements
  • Formulate and submit quarterly, annual, and long-range business plans for the institution and assure ongoing success and daily operations.
  • Achieve operating and financial objectives, and strategic goals.
  • Provides leadership for the development and implementation of new academic programs and improvement of current programs.
  • Achieve new student recruitment goals.
  • Assure that human resources are managed and developed to include management succession and development.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards and regulation, and EDMC system rules.
  • Achieve strategic placement and retention goals.
  • Oversee the school's professional development program.
  • Other responsibilities as dictated by fiscal / operational need.

Group Vice President
Directly Supervises:
School Executive Committee
Interacts With:
Faculty, Staff, Students, all levels of administration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with a master's degree in a related field desirable.
  • Five years of management experience with operational/fiscal responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with both faculty and student population.
  • Superior organizational and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong basic computer software (MS Office skills)
  • Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Ability to listen to customers (e.g. students, staff, etc.) and to understand and respond positively to their requests.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and to set one's own priorities and work schedule.
  • Ability to work flexible office hours that allow for both day and evening student contact.
